The central objective of the Banks HSO Program is to provide assistance to governments in Sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen their health systems. Within service delivery and governance and accountability, this means working closely with focus governments and partners to develop and implement adequate, relevant and targeted structures, policies and programs. Such assistance takes on the form of analytical and technical support, as well as a focus on building the capacity to achieve these objectives.
